Hyperliquid Wallet History: Every Trade Since January 2024

Get the complete trade history of any Hyperliquid wallet, back to January 2024, beyond the API's recent-fills limit. Free CSV export or REST API.

On Hyperliquid, every order book trade is public and attributable to an address. In theory, that makes it the most transparent derivatives venue ever built. In practice, pulling the full history of a given wallet is harder than it looks.

This article explains why, and how to get every trade of any Hyperliquid wallet back to January 2024.

In a hurry? The free Trade Export portal downloads any wallet's full history as a CSV, from January 2024, with no account and no code.

Why the official API is not enough

Hyperliquid's info endpoint exposes per-account fills through userFills and userFillsByTime. They work well for recent activity, but they are not an archive: Hyperliquid documents that only the most recent fills of an account are available (10,000 at most).

For a casual trader, 10,000 fills can mean years. For an active trader, a vault or a market maker, it can mean a few days. So the wallets you most want to study are exactly the ones whose history you cannot see.

What Hypedexer serves

Hypedexer has indexed every Hyperliquid trade from its own nodes and rebuilt the history that came before:

  • From 1 January 2024: almost 247 million trades in 2024 alone, each linked to a wallet.
  • More than 4 billion fills in total, perp and spot, up to the latest block.
  • No 10,000-fill window: you query by date range, whatever the account's activity.

Each fill comes with the market, side, price, size and timestamp. Depending on the period, fills also carry the transaction hash, order id, position before the trade, closed PnL, fees and, since April 2026, the priority gas paid. The exact field coverage by period is listed in the Historical Trade Archive.

Who uses wallet-level history

  • Copy-trading and signal platforms screening traders on years of results, not weeks.
  • Funds and allocators doing due diligence on a trader or a vault before allocating.
  • Market makers matching their own fills against the tape to see who takes their liquidity and how informed that flow is.
  • Researchers and journalists reconstructing what a wallet did around a liquidation cascade or a token launch.
  • Accounting and tax tools that need complete, verifiable trade records.

Option 1: Trade Export, the free service

Open the Trade Export portal, paste an address, pick dates from January 2024 onward and download the CSV. Columns: time, coin, direction, price, size, notional, fee, fee token, closed PnL and hash.

It is free, with no account, no API key and no limit on how far back you go within our archive. We run it as a public good for the Hyperliquid community: traders checking their own history, accountants preparing a tax file, researchers and journalists studying a wallet.

Option 2: REST API

Create a key in the console, then:

bash
curl -H "X-API-Key: $HYPEDEXER_KEY" \
  "https://api.hypedexer.com/fills/user/0xYourWallet?start_time=2024-01-01T00:00:00Z&end_time=2024-02-01T00:00:00Z&limit=1000&order=ASC"

The response contains data (the fills), has_more and next_cursor. Pass next_cursor back as cursor to get the next page; pagination runs across years without gaps.

Analyzing a wallet in pandas takes a few lines:

python
import pandas as pd, requests

BASE, HEADERS = "https://api.hypedexer.com", {"X-API-Key": "YOUR_KEY"}

def fetch(address, start, end):
    rows, cursor = [], None
    while True:
        params = {"start_time": start, "end_time": end, "limit": 1000, "order": "ASC"}
        if cursor:
            params["cursor"] = cursor
        page = requests.get(f"{BASE}/fills/user/{address}", headers=HEADERS, params=params, timeout=60).json()
        rows += page["data"]
        if not page.get("has_more"):
            return pd.DataFrame(rows)
        cursor = page["next_cursor"]

df = fetch("0xYourWallet", "2024-01-01T00:00:00Z", "2026-01-01T00:00:00Z")
df["notional"] = df["notional"].astype(float)
print(df.groupby("coin")["notional"].sum().sort_values(ascending=False).head(10))

Fills before March 2025 are served over the API on the Scale and Enterprise plans; recent fills on every plan. The export portal covers the full period for free.

Beyond fills: the whole account

Trades are only part of a wallet's story. Hypedexer also serves, per address:

  • Daily account statements: balances, open positions, unrealized and realized PnL, funding, fees, deposits, withdrawals and transfers, one row per day. See Daily account statements for any Hyperliquid address.
  • Performance and PnL calendar: GET /users/{address}/performance and /pnl-calendar.
  • Top trades and equity history over any window.

FAQ

Why does Hyperliquid only show my recent trades? The exchange API returns the most recent fills of an account (up to 10,000). Older trades are still on-chain history, but you need an indexer like Hypedexer to query them.

Can I see another trader's history? Yes. Hyperliquid trades are public by design; any address can be queried.

Does the history include spot trades? Yes, perp and spot fills are served by the same endpoints; typeTrade tells them apart.

How far back does it go? To 1 January 2024 for trades linked to wallets.

Is there a free way to export a Hyperliquid wallet's trades? Yes, the Trade Export portal: any address, back to January 2024, CSV, no account.
